Frequently Asked Questions
When and where are practices?
Practice begins Monday, July 25th at Montgomery High School, from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Practices will be Monday thru Friday until the week after the first game of the season. At that time, practice will drop to three nights per week; the head coach will determine the days.
Where is the home field? The Santa Rosa Stallions home games are played at Montgomery High School.
Is there travel involved? The Stallions are part of the North Bay Youth Football and Cheer (NBYFC) conference, which has teams as far north as Ukiah and Dixon and south to Novato. As part of this conference, you can expect to travel to those locations at least every other year.
Are there extras I need to purchase for my Football player?
  1. Practice Jerseys: For the first day of practice, please purchase a practice jerseys from T & B Sports on Steele Lane. Tell them you are with the Stallions and ask that they put your child's last name on the back of the practice jersey.
  2. Cleats: Also for the first day of practice, your child will need football cleats. It is always a good idea to break them in before any camps and/or before practice.
  3. Girdles: You are responsible for purchasing your football player's girdle; these are mandatory for the second week of practice.
